Pretty Dresses

Yesterday I introduced you to my ladies, so today I'll show you what they'll be wearing!

From the beginning I knew that I wanted my bridesmaids to be able to pick the style of dress to wear. During the trip in which I found my dress, the consultant opened my eyes to the beauty of a dark purple dress against my ivory and champagne gown. I was convinced that my 'maids would be in deep purple, tea length dresses of their choice.

So the hunt began. David's Bridal didn't work because the fabrics were weird and not all styles came in the color I wanted. Moving on.

At some point in June or July of last year I came across Aria. Oh how I love Aria. The dresses are beautiful, come in every color they offer, and there are many many styles to chose. I ordered seven free fabric samples and chose their silk shantung in aubergine.

I recently sent out an email to the girls for them to see the dresses and for them to choose their style. They each chose something that will flatter their body type/personality.

I am in love with their choices, and can't wait to place the order this summer. If I had the extra funds, I'd order one for myself in a fun color for the rehearsal dinner. I am very hopeful for these because we have to order them online as the only showrooms that carry the line are in LA, DC, and Boston. Fingers crossed!

The girls will choose their own shoes in any style and color (except silver since I'm doing gold elsewhere in the wedding.) Megan and Kris already told me they plan on finding cute gold shoes!

I'm gonna have some hot ladies beside me in October!
