BIG Uh-Oh

On Thursday FMIL came over and we assembled the STDs. In less than 20 minutes they were stuffed, stamped, labeled, and sealed. Because I worked throughout the weekend, I was unable to mail them myself. So before I left on Saturday morning I asked if Jimmy would walk to the corner and put them in the big blue mailbox.

Notice anything wrong here?

It's made of metal and our STDs are magnets... yeah. Jimmy mentioned that he hoped none of them got stuck to the sides and wouldn't get delivered. Our mailmen are great so I'm hoping for the best. The magnets aren't all that strong, but there's always the chance of something happening when metal meets magnet.

Oh well, lesson learned. If I ever decide to send magnets in the mail I'll make sure to get thicker envelopes. If some guests don't get them, they'll just have to wait for the invitation. I won't be losing any sleep over this, although I do hope all of our guests get our adorable magnets!

On an unrelated wedding note, while I was at work yesterday Jimmy took it upon himself to update the wedding website. I'm happy he's getting himself involved in all of this. Of course he helps me all the time with wedding things, but to do something all on his own is extra nice.

Haha...I never would have thought of that...hopefully they all get sent! :) If not, at least there is a funny story to go along with it!

I doubt I would have thought of this before putting them in the mail! Hopefully your mailman will see them all and collect them

Yikes! I hope they get out okay. Scary thought to have afterwards.
