On the way to the mall we decided to stop at David's Bridal since she had a coupon from when I bought my dress for $20 off a dress for the MOB. My mom said that when she thinks of MOB dresses at David's Bridal she thinks "old fuddy-duddy" dresses. Well we were proven wrong!
We didn't have an appointment, but since it was 1 in the afternoon there weren't many people there so we could look around and try on some dresses. We went through the 2 aisles of MOB dresses and found 3 that we liked. All 3 looked fantastic on her, but the second was the hands-down favorite. I couldn't find any of the 3 on the DB website to show you, but we took a picture when we got home.
She also purchased a gold shimmery clutch to carry on the wedding day at DB. So, so far on this shopping trip we had chosen her dress within the first 45 minutes.

After DB we wanted to look at shoes and headed to DSW. DB had a cute pair that were the perfect height, color, and style, but we knew we could find something less expensive somewhere else. We were looking for champagne or copper/brown 2" heels. We found the perfect pair that are dark brown strappy heels with bronze/copper stones across the toes. Beautiful, and they are the perfect height so she won't have to have any alterations on her dress! We found shoes in 20 minutes!
Now we moved onto jewelry. We went to the mall to look, and went from store to store looking for a simple necklace. Ultimately we found one at Macy's. It has copper and gold beads, and you can kinda see her wearing it in the picture above.
The jewelry took a while to find, but still on the same shopping trip! We were home before dinner, and my mom was completely decked out for the wedding.

The dress looks great on her!
Jeez, you got your mom fitted out in lightning speed! She looks wonderful!
She looks fabulous!
So cool that you got her dress that fast. She looks beautiful in it. How exciting. We've already gone for our first alteration appointment and my mother hasn't figured out what shoes she's going to wear! I could kill her...I kept telling her to buy something so that they could properly hem her dress. You're lucky to have handled it so easily.
Oh I love this outfit!! Very pretty...and how lucky that you found everything so fast!
that necklace is simple yet chic!
