I downloaded the podcast and put it on my iPod Nano. I strapped on my running shoes and headed out. I got 20 minutes in and had to stop. It. Was. HARD. And in week one you only run for 60 second intervals at a time! How pathetic am I?
I've never been able to run outside for some reason, so I knew it would be tough, but I never imagined I wouldn't be able to finish the first session. Oh well. I went as far as I could today, and I'll try again on Friday (you skip every other day.) Definitely not looking forward to the week you run the entire time!

I did the couch to 5K program as my 2009 new year's resolution. It's really hard at first, but if I can do it you can too! I don't think I had ever even run a full mile before I did this program, let alone a 5K. I've backslid a little on the running but was just thinking about starting this program up again. I love how proud of myself I felt when I was doing this program.
I think its always hard when you start an new exercise program! What really struck me was how unfit I really was when I first started hitting the gym. Its been about 7 weeks now and its definitely gotten easier, and I'm enjoying it more. Good luck lady! You can do it!
You go girl! :)
