I tried on my dress last week to 1. make sure I still fit in it, 2. see how the jewelry I bought looked with it, and 3. to see how the shoes looked with everything. Well the dress still fits, the jewelry looks great, and the shoes are terrible. I mean horrid. The color is way off and clashes with the ivory and champagne of the dress.
They're still adorable shoes and I plan on wearing them with some cute spring colored tops and jeans.
So I'm back to looking for dressy, flat, wedding shoes. I want something to match the formalness of the dress, but flats don't seem to come in anything but ballet flats or casual sandals these days. What's a tall girl to do?
I can't do a heel because I don't want to tower over Jimmy, and my dress would be too short if I wear anything over an inch. So far I'm walking down the aisle barefoot.

I hope you find something! Check out endless.com, zappos.gom and piperlime.com. I was also look for shoes with low heels or flats and understand how hard it is to find them. Good luck!
that's zappos.Com!
Aww too bad they didn't work out! Those are my shoes but I wore them in silver!! They are really still very cute with jeans though! Good luck on the hunt!
I sooooo feel your pain! I'm 5'10".... my fiance likes to think he is, too. lol, but I think he's about a quarter inch SHORTER, so I REALLY don't want to wear heals! And I've had such a hard time finding flats... especially in blue like I want. I actually ran across the same shoes you ordered in white. I was thinking about trying to go to a DSW this weekend and try them on to see if I like them... wish me luck! (P.S. I told my fiance that we should buy him platform shoes so I can wear heels (there are sooo many gorgeous styles in heels!) but he didn't go for that... darn).
I feel your pain on the height issue and no heels! I'm looking to buy ballet flats from dessy.com since they come in every color imaginable. Worth checking out although just plain looking but not many people are going to be staring at your feet ;-)
