The leaves are changing and making everything around look so beautiful! Jimmy and I wanted to get our engagement pics done for that reason, but Jen's schedule was already full. It looks like we'll be waiting till the spring.
Even though Fall officially started last week, October makes it feel like it for me. The past few days the weather has been very chilly and I've been loving it. I broke out my cozy sweatshirts, cuddled under big blankets, and wore real socks for the first time in months! I look forward to wearing coats, scarves, and gloves, and drinking mugs of hot cocoa.
Jimmy's birthday is the 9th. My baby turns 24 this year. He's freaking out about being old. I always remind him that he'll never catch up to my senior status.
This is the cake I made him last year. He was being indecisive about flavors so he got a yellow cake with jell-o cake cupcakes on top. This year he requested pumpkin pie!
My birthday is the 21st. This year I'm 26... on a speeding slope to 30. I don't feel old at all. I don't feel like I'm 2 years older than Jimmy. I love my birthday and am looking forward to another year wiser! Wish I could spend it with these two characters!
Jimmy and I will have been dating for 3 years at the end of the month. We don't have an anniversary date because neither of us know when exactly we started dating. We do know that we had our first kiss on October 29th and started really dating shortly after.
October will also be our wedding anniversary! I can't wait till the 30th of this month so I can officially say that we have a year until we say "I do!"
This cake is amazing. I love the colors and the cute little birds on top.
