Really? Wow.

I blog for myself. I started it as an outlet for all the weddingness that I knew would be taking over my life after Jimmy proposed. I never thought that people would actually start to follow and leave me some wonderful comments. Thanks ladies!

Now Stephanie of "I Do" at the Zoo has awarded this little blog an award! I've loved reading Stephanie's blog about her zoo nuptials and I can't wait for her to get her pro pics so we all can see her fabulous wedding! After receiving this award I'm to write 7 facts about myself and then pass it along to 7 other Kreativ bloggers.

My 7 Facts

1. I'm an indoor girl. I can't stand bugs and sweating. If those aren't an issue, like during the fall and winter I'm all over the outdoors. My idea of camping is hiking during the day, maybe some swimming or fishing, and then back to the hotel for a warm shower and soft bed. This kinda stinks because Jimmy is the ultimate outdoorsman and I wish I liked doing all those gross outside things with him.

2. I don't have any pre-Jimmy friends that live anywhere near me. All of the close friends that I hang out with on a regular basis are also friends of Jimmy. The friends I have that are actually MY friends live in states like Michigan and North Carolina whom I only get to see once or twice a year. It's pretty sad.

3. I don't drink. At all. I used to drink socially all the time in college. Then only 3 weeks after I graduated I started showing symptoms of a liver disease and was diagnosed a few months later. It's very serious and may require a liver transplant for me later in life, but it's something I've come to live with. It still majorly sucks butt when I can't grab a beer with the guys or toast along with everyone else at a celebration. It's just not the same when everyone around you is drinking and they look at you all sympathetic and ask, "Jill, do want a soda or something?" I do have just as much fun sober, and I'll be toasting sparkling grape juice at our wedding!

4. I personify inanimate objects. I feel terrible about throwing away a pen or separating a group of stuffed animals thinking they will be lonely without each other. I just cleaned out my entire room and donated bags and bags of stuff I knew I didn't need to be moving with me to Jimmy's house. When I came to my stuffed animal collection from childhood I felt so bad about giving them away. It made me feel better to pack them together in on bag so at least they wouldn't be apart on the trip out of my house.

5. I cannot eat small finger foods without dropping half of it on the floor. Whenever I munch on popcorn or pretzels I have to pick up half of it from my lap and around my chair.

6. I dream of being a stay-at-home mom. I don't know why and I think I'd probably go crazy not working, but I find something very comfortable about the idea. Maybe because my mom was home with my sister and I until she went back to school when I was in 3rd grade.

7. If I had more time and money I'd scrapbook so much more. I have so many vacations that are stuck in digital form that I'd love to put in an album.

(That was really hard to come up with 7 facts. I feel like mine are very random and all over the place.)
