Paradise On Earth

We have a Honeymoon! Which did we choose? California road trip, or tropical Maui vacation?

We're going to Maui!!! It was official as of Sunday. We'll be leaving the Tuesday after the wedding, and not returning until the following week on Thursday.

I am sooooo excited! I definitely think this will help us ease into married life!

We chose to stay at Honua Kai Resort and Spa. It's an all condo resort that are each privately owned. Our condo is a one bedroom with a full kitchen, king size bed, living area, bathroom with shower and bath, and a private lanai.

Honua Kai just opened in January 2009. Each condo is privately owned, but the decor in each is the same so you don't risk the chance of getting one that has horribly dated furnishings. It's located in Kaanapali.

It was about the same price as many of the other resorts in the area, but far nicer and newer. The video below is a tour of one of the one-bedroom condos at Honua Kai. It's gives you a good idea of what our unit will look like. Blogger sometimes doesn't want to show the video in the post, so you can click here to watch the video on YouTube.

Yay!!

Yay! OK, now while you're there, you have to fly the the big island and go on the manta ray dive. The flight should be about $50 each, and the manta ray dive is one of the best rated dives in the world. It's just as good snorkeling as diving. Trust me, it's AMAZING, you won't regret it.

And if you do go, you should check out the Hilton Waikoloa while you're there. Just to hang out in. Coolest hotel I've ever seen. Awesome pools and lagoon where you can swim with sea turtles.

OK, I'll shut up now, have a wonderful time! I'm jealous!
