They were cute and light pink with hearts on the soles. Well then I tried them on with my dress and about puked when I saw the color next to my dress. So gross. It wasn't a complete loss, because I have been able to wear them with other outfits.
Then last week I was out shopping with Jimmy looking for a tie for him to wear to my cousin's wedding. We were in Nordstrom's and walked past the women's shoe department. I died. There they were: Jimmy Choo gold flats. I picked them up wanting to hug them... then I flipped them over to see the price. $465!! Down they went back on the table and I walked away. I first made sure to show Jimmy how gorgeous they were.
Flash forward to yesterday, and I was again searching the internet for appropriate wedding flats. I don't remember what I Googled, but I found a cheaper version of the Jimmy Choos... Steve Madden!
And the best part? They're only $70!! I am so excited about these shoes. They are being shipped to me, and I'll immediately try them with my dress. I think I'll be walking barefoot or with a pair of Old Navy flip flops if these don't work. I'm tired of looking for shoes!

I TOTALLY hear you! It's so hard finding cute flats! I finally just gave up on my blue-shoe-dream and bought some white sandals at Penney's. lol
