I have a few quick things to update that don't deserve their own posts.
1. I officially have taken time off for my wedding and honeymoon at work!
Yesterday my manager put out the calendars for October and November to request time off just for me to sign up for the time I need. I came in in the morning, and Barb told me to take off as much time as I needed, assuming I'd not be working the week before my wedding, and also the two weeks following for the honeymoon. It was so weird seeing those dates and putting my name down knowing it's because I'll be getting married!!
2. We got a quote from Dawn for the flowers. Way under what I assumed we'd be paying!! Yay!!
3. Our officiant FINALLY got in touch with us! We'll probably be meeting with him sometime next week to hammer out most of the details of the wedding. I had to go through the pastor's secretary for him to respond to the email I sent him MAY 6th!! Ugh.
4. I need to get our invitations ordered. I'm not making any fancy DIY invitations. I'm going for simple elegant invites through an online store. My goal is to get them ordered before we go on vacation July 12th.
I think that's everything. Lately there's been so much going on and getting done that I forget things.

Cheap(er) flowers are always a good thing! Can't wait to see your invites, too, it looks like you and I are on the same page with them. Your employer sounds nice, to let you take as much time as you need! (We will be unemployed so we get plenty of time, too!)
