Leigh and Fredrick. My name on blogger is Jillreigh as a silly combination of my first and middle names that Jimmy's called me since I can remember.

a little over 3 years
3. How long did you know each other before you started dating?
I believe a little over a year. I'm not sure exactly when I first met Jimmy but I think it was around the fall of 2005?
4. Who asked who out?
Well we kind of just fell into dating each other after going out to bars together the year he turned 21. I think he may have suggested going on a real date first.
5. How old are each of you?
I'm 26 and he's 24.

No, we grew up in towns that are 30 minutes from each other.
8. Who is the smartest?
He's my genius. He seems to know everything. Though I'm the literary one.

I majored in Elementary Education and graduated in Feb 2007. He went to NIU for a year, then moved home and went to a community college for another year. He never had a major. In 2006 he joined the union and started his electrician apprenticeship. It's a 5 year program, but he's already made a name for himself in the trade and is quickly moving up the ladder.

11. Where is the furthest you two have traveled together as a couple?
Over the summer we went to the Dominican Republic for a week. I'm hoping our lives take us to many places in the world.
12. Who has the worst temper?
I do outwardly. He doesn't let things get to him.
13. How many children do you want?
He wants no more than 2, maybe 3. I'd love 3 but we'll see what happens.
14. Who does the cooking?
He does. He makes amazing dishes without even trying. I need to follow a recipe in the kitchen so I'm the baker.
15. Who is more social?
He is, but we're both pretty reserved. He does better meeting new people. I blush uncontrollably and jumble my words if I'm a little nervous. I hate it!

I am. Especially at his house I'm compulsively cleaning.

He is. He likes things done a certain way.
18. Who wakes up earlier?
He has to be at work in Chicago by 6am so he's up to get ready and catch the train at 4:45am. YUCK.

We went to see a movie and then went to a pub for a few drinks.

With extended family he does, but with just brothers and sisters I do.
21. Do you get flowers often?
Never. He got me flowers once when I was hospitalized with pancreatitis for a week. I don't really mind since flowers die anyway.
22. How do you spend the holidays?
It changes from year to year. We'll usually split Christmas day between his parents' house and mine. Otherwise his parents usually celebrate with an early dinner for other holidays around 2 and my parents always have holiday dinners around 6. So we've never had to choose between families since each is 30 minutes from each other.
23. Who is more jealous?
Neither of us are jealous people, but sometime I find myself wanting to be as successful as he is so early in his life.
24. How long did it take to get serious?
As soon as we started seeing each other we were a serious couple. I remember about 2 weeks into our relationship he referred to me as his girlfriend and I was like, "jeeze, I wasn't even sure we were dating yet!"
25. Who eats more?
He does. He always goes back for seconds and will finish my plate most nights. Unfortunately it's starting to show.
26. What do you do for a living?
Well I'm a teacher that hasn't been given the opportunity to teach. I substitute teach and I also work at The Disney Store. Hopefully I'll find a classroom in the near future. Jimmy is an electrician in the city of Chicago and is amazing at what he does.
27. Who does the laundry?
I do my own laundry since I still am living with my parents. He does his own if I'm not around, but most of the time he'll ask me nicely to do his. I usually get my car washed or oil changed out of the deal!
28. Who's better with the computer?
He is with PCs and I with Macs. I say we're about equal.
29. Who drives when you are together?
He does. I can't drive his car since it's manual, and he doesn't like my driving so I'd rather hand over the keys and not hear the comments.

We don't have a song, but one night at Howl at the Moon they played Brown Eyed Girl and while we were dancing he changed the words to be about me, so whenever that song comes on the radio we both look at each other and smile.
