So Glad To Be Home

While vacations are fun, it's always a relief to come home. The five of us had a great time in Fort Myers. We hung out at the pool, nearly melted at the beach one day, played Catch Phrase almost every night, and did absolutely nothing stressful all week. When we headed home and I dropped off Steve at his house I made a beeline to Jimmy's house. I was so tired after a 21-hour car ride and the second Jimmy opened the door I was in his arms. Luckily it was only 8 am so he wasn't opposed to going back to bed to cuddle up before taking a short nap. That 30 minutes was the best sleep I got all week.

I didn't think about wedding planning once while I was gone. It was kinda nice. Jimmy did kindly beg me to email Jennifer Wiley to tell her we had chosen her to be the photographer (yay!!). But other than that 5 minutes it took me to send it out to her, weddings were off my brain.

I am so glad to be home though. My brother is in town from Virginia for the weekend, so I've been spending lots of time with my family and Jimmy has been right there along with me. My family adores him and I love sitting back and watching him bond with them all. Saturday we had a big party at my parents' house, and today we went to the zoo with my older sister, brother-in-law, younger sister, mom, dad, my 2 nieces, and 2 nephews. My brother and his wife attended a wedding today so we all took care of their 2 children. I just have to say that Jimmy is AMAZING with children and every time we're around little ones, my biological clock ticks just a little bit louder. We're definitely not ready for kids of our own yet, though!
