The rehearsal was a breeze. We went over the basics with the pastor and then ran through the ceremony backwards starting at the end and then from start to finish. The most complicated part was figuring out how the bridesmaids and groomsmen would walk up and down the aisle. We had 3 girls and 4 guys.
What we ended up doing was Jimmy and Steve the Best Man would be at the front of the church waiting with the pastor. Then the bridesmaids would be escorted by the remaining groomsmen. So it looked like this:
Jimmy and Steve up front
Anthony and Megan
Kris and Mike
Alison and Pete
On the way out of the church the MOH and Best Man would walk out behind Jimmy and I, followed by Kris and Pete, and then Megan, Mike, and Anthony.
Confused? So was everyone else, but it all worked out on the wedding day.
My sis-in-law thankfully took some pictures because I forgot to have someone take them with my camera.
Everyone in their places (minus Megan who was running a little late.)
My brother David practicing his reading and the pastor telling everyone to turn and listen to whomever was speaking during the ceremony. Yeah right. I knew we'd all be looking at each other making weird faces.
Kris and Moik. And apparently Pete showing Alison how cool exit signs are.
Dad and I.
Practicing being introduced as husband and wife. Of course me being super awkward.
I was completely relaxed during the rehearsal. I think the most nervous person there was Steve because, holy cow, the Best Man had so many jobs during that ceremony. He did great though.
After we were done it was time to EAT! Unfortunately we took no pictures because everyone was busy talking and eating. We had a private room at the Brick House. Read about it HERE in a post I did a while back.
We passed out our attendant gifts, and thanked everyone for being there to support us.
I think everyone was most excited about baby Olivia. Jimmy's brother and wife brought along their 3-month-old and she was passed around so much I don't think her mom had to hold her once that night.
After a while the parents and siblings left and only Jimmy and I and our groomsmen/bridesmaids were left. We had a few last drinks and told crazy stories as we would normally do out at a bar.
When it was time to call it a night Jimmy came home with me before heading to Steve and Anthony's for the night. It was sad to have him leave, but I was excited for the next day. Thankfully I had The Fritz to keep me company. And strange enough I had absolutely no problem falling asleep that night.
Tomorrow was the big day.

Love your rehearsal outfit :)
So special that you have pictures from the actual rehearsal. And that's awesome that you were able to fall asleep...I don't think I slept a wink the night before!
