Before I was engaged I had so many visions of what I wanted my engagement ring to look like. The months leading up to the proposal I cold only envision an emerald cut diamond with a halo of pave diamonds encircling it. Well, what I got was different from what I ever dreamed.
My ring is white gold sealed in Rodium. (Rohde-um!!) It has a solitaire princess cut diamond which is .59 carats. Honestly when I first saw it I couldn’t wrap my head around the fact that it wasn’t anything like I imagined, but the minute it was on my finger it became my perfect engagement ring. Jimmy picked it because of it’s simplicity, and he picked the princess cut because he likes things geometric and straight.
Honestly it’s really me and it looks fabulous on my hand. Now looking back what I envisioned probably wouldn’t look right on my finger. I’m completely thrilled with my precious!
