A laborer's union has been on strike since last Wednesday, and because Jimmy works with some of these people he also hasn't been to work. Something about brotherhood and it being easier to work with people when you respect their strike and don't cross the line.
So Jimmy's been at home during the day when I'm not working (which has been a lot lately - woohoo!). It's been nice to see him more and we've been able to get a lot done around the house. Our kitchen cabinets are fully primed and painted. A pretty simple project, but it was a pain in the ass because I went super slow to make sure it looked perfect. Pictures to come soon, but my camera is already packed for Florida.
We also had a whirlwind 4th weekend. I worked all weekend and missed most of Steve's annual 4th party. I have no idea if anyone took pictures, and if they did where they'd be. I did get there around 7:30PM when most everyone had taken full advantage of the keg. I spent the night in the pool.
As far as wedding planning, I worked out all the wording for our invitations!! I just need a few family members to look it over to make sure everything is correct before I order anything.
Tomorrow I will go to work, and then early Sunday morning we leave for Florida. We'll be gone until Wednesday, July 21st. I won't be posting at all until I get home. MacBook Pro will be staying at home while I'm on vacation.

Sounds like you've been a busy bee! So, date twin, when are your invites going out?
I have no idea! haha... um probably toward the end of August. That will give our guests about a month to RSVP, and then we'll have a little less than a month to contact anyone that forgot to RSVP, and then figure out the seating chart. Ugh that sounds like a lot of work typing it all out like that...
We're the 23rd of October- I hope to send them out on Aug 23rd... I agree with a month for the seating chart and escort cards... all I can think is YIKES
