Beautiful Songs

Jimmy is at the bar with Kurtis, one of our ushers.

That leaves me home alone tonight with nothing to do but watch "Independence Day" on E! even though I've seen it way too many times. So I've muted the tv and turned my attention to You Tube. I really should just turn the tv off, but I hate sitting in the living room at night with absolutely nothing going on around me. It's like having a silent friend in the room... ugh that sounded really pathetic. ANYWAY...

I've had a sticky on my desktop for a while with possible options for our classical guitarist to play during the ceremony. I'm tired of that sticky being there, so for the past hour I've been narrowing down our choices and I think I've come up with our ceremony playlist!

For the processional I've chosen two songs.

One is BWV 1007 by Bach

The second is "Jeux Iterdits" by Anonymous

For our recessional I've picked Canarios by Gaspar Sanz

I know our guitarist Casey can play our recessional since he's the one that introduced it to us, but I found both processional songs by searching for classical guitar songs on You Tube. I'll send him an email and see what he says. If he can't/isn't willing to learn these songs I'm back to square one, and at this point I'd just let him play whatever the hell he wants to play. But Casey's a cool guy so I'm hoping for the best.

But I have one question for you guys. Which processional song should be played for my bridesmaids, and which for me? I love them both and I just can't decide. What would you do?

I need to have noise when I'm alone too, or I start to think weird things like there are ghosts about or something. I can't help with you with your songs, I can't choose myself, but they are lovely!

I agree with you and Kristin, no noise when home alone = scariness and ghosts.

I love all of them, but I'm more partial to the first one.
