I spent all afternoon shopping for cute cocktail dresses that I can wear to two weddings in June. One wedding is my cousin Adam's on the 4th, and the other is FMIL's best friend's daughter's on the 26th. I plan on wear the same dress to both events. Completely different groups of people and the only ones who will know will be Jimmy and I. Plus I really just don't care to spend money on dresses that I most likely will only get few wears out of.
So I shopped till my feet hurt trying on everything that looked remotely cute. At the end of the day I came home with two dresses, and I'm only keeping one. The loser will be returned.
I can't decide. I like them both.
The first dress I bought is from The Limited. It's really cute and flowy, and the fabric it so soft. The top fits really nice and I don't have to wear a bra if I don't want to. It ties in the back with a cute ribbon. I'd wear a pashmina with it to cover up at the churches, and for if it gets cold at night.
The second dress I bought is by a designer called JAX. I got it at the department store Von Maur. It makes me feel kinda sexy. I can wear a normal bra with it and I know I won't be tugging up on it like I may have to do with the strapless one. However, because it's a straight skirt, I do have to adjust it by pulling down when I get up from sitting or if I move a lot. This one was also a lot more expensive than the one from The Limited.
Help me out... which one would you choose?

Mm, tough choice. Normally, I'd go for the strapless dress, but I really like the second one. That may be because I don't think choice #1 looks good on the model, but I also really like the way #2 fits, and I LOVE the side thingy. Of course, I usually opt for the cheaper option. Sorry, this is not very helpful. I'd probably go for #2.
