For Our Guests

After my first dress fitting today (which I'll talk about in another post) I went with my mom and sister to Dan's Homemade Candies in Joliet. They have delicious chocolates, hard candies, and what I went there for... caramel apples! My grandma always had their G-shaft candies in her house, and she'd give you them to fix a sore throat or scraped knee.

I wanted to see the different sizes they offered, and know their prices. We're going with the small plain caramel apples that are double dipped in their homemade caramel. I got one to take home for Jimmy and I, and we ate it as soon as I walked in the door. Soooooo good. When I get the final head count I'll put in the order and they'll be ready a few days before the wedding so I can package them.

Each guest will get their own apple sitting on a layer of fall colored M&M's in a cellophane bag tied with a dark purple ribbon.

I am so excited about our favors, and I hope our guests are, too.
